You also must have the GPLEA addon bits loose in your car folder (not inside the dat as the installer needs to use these bits) or this mod will not install.
You will be asked where you have installed GPL so you need to direct it to your install
If you should have the 2004Demo and you have added the rest of the tracks from your original CD then make sure you observe the warning during the installation for your destination directory or the Night Mod will not work.
This message will come up, and you need to click YES
If you have a standard GPL install then it will all be straight forward.
(During the installation you will also be asked for the GPLSecrets\GEM+\Pictures folder so you can place the GEM pictures.)
When you have finished installing the Night Mod, start GEM and click on Carsets
Now make sure you activate both carsets and click OK.
You will now find that you have fully installed the Night Mod.
Remember to use your 67 username for Nite67 and your 65 username for Nite65. This is so you have the correct setups for the right car.
You can, should you want to, create new usernames for the two carsets and place the appropriate setups in the correct user for the available Night Tracks. For example you would place 65 setups in Bloggs-N65_Joe and 67 setups in Bloggs-N67_Joe. The advantage of this is when you change users in GEM+ it will remember your carset for a particular user and you won't end up with the wrong setups when using a particular carset. (This is not necessary but makes life easier in the long run.)
Enjoy the Night Mod.
